Description
Overview
The PK58™ Dining Table is Poul Kjærholm's round table, designed in 1963 and put into production in 2007. A circular white polyester composite top sits on a cube base of anodised, satin brushed aluminium. It measures Ø 130 × H 71 cm and seats four.
Construction
- Top moulded in polyester composite with alumina trihydrate as a mineral filler
- Base of 16 parts joined with 16 black hexagon socket screws

Story
Inspired by the PK54
Fritz Hansen says the PK58™ was inspired by Poul Kjærholm's PK54™ table. Against the PK54™ it is 2 cm taller, its top diameter is 10 cm shorter, and the materials differ.
Introduced with the PK8
The sheet notes that the PK58™ was introduced along with the PK8™ chair, in cooperation with Hanne Kjærholm; the design dates from 1963 and production began in 2007.
