Description

Overview

PietraForma by Roberto Sironi sits between design and sculpture. Its elongated stone surface avoids a regular geometric outline, creating a low horizontal composition held by wooden supports placed at different points beneath it.

Construction

The top is specified in Breccia Sarda Matt Marble or Orobico Grey Matt Marble. The wooden legs are available in Walnut Stained, Canaletto Walnut or Anthracite Grey Stained finishes. Their architectural arrangement supports the top while remaining visible around its changing perimeter.

Specifications

Model 0PTFTB17501 measures 176 x 92 x 28 cm (W x D x H).

Story

An irregular landscape at room scale

Roberto Sironi treats the tabletop as a shaped surface rather than a conventional rectangle or circle. Its changing contour produces different overhangs around the supporting legs, so the relationship between horizontal plane and vertical blocks shifts with the viewing angle. Tacchini frames PietraForma as a meeting point between sculpture and furniture, with stone and wood arranged as distinct architectural elements.
