Description
High cabinet
Neri&Hu's Mi High Cabinet has a single internal compartment behind two hinged doors. One of its two walnut-veneered shelves is fixed; the lower shelf can be set at three heights. The doors close magnetically.
Construction
Burnished-finish metal tubing surrounds curved poplar-plywood sides, with birch-plywood bottom and back panels. Saddle Extra leather covers the exterior and carries Canneté's vertical relief. A raised marble top is supported above the cabinet body.

Story
Conceal and reveal
The Mi family uses an oblong outer shell, a raised top and a tempered-glass layer between the shelves and cabinet body to control what can be seen inside. The Chinese pinyin name Mi can refer both to looking and to a secret.
High-cabinet arrangement
This version concentrates the storage into one compartment. The upper shelf stays fixed, while the lower shelf offers three positions within the two-door cabinet.
