Description
Overview
Greene Bed is a bed by David Lopez Quincoces, dated 2026. It explores the concept of the curve as a generative element of the sleeping area, and its balanced proportions and essential design create a relaxed, effortless mood.
Construction
The headboard frame is tubular steel, with foam padding of differing density, wrapped in 100% polyether lining over polyamide velveteen backing, thermofixed; screws fix it to the bed frame. Loose cushions at the headboard are filled with goose down, divided into stitched compartments and combined with a foam insert. The bedstead is poplar and fir plywood panels with foam padding, attached to a 60 x 30 mm tubular steel frame in black epoxy polyester powder coating. The frame is made of two divisible parts joined by an interlocking plate connection and screws. The feet are Ø25 mm steel in Gunmetal Grey epoxy polyester, with plastic tips on the floor.
