Description

Overview

Greene System, dated 2022, is a modular sofa by David Lopez Quincoces for Living Divani. A sequence of curved backrests marks out soft volumes suspended on a slender foot, giving a living area warm minimalism that invites a pause for dialogue and relaxation.

Construction

The structure is lacquered steel tube of 60x30 mm section; coated-rubber elastic straps woven crosswise suspend the seat, and polyurethane foam pads it. Steel tube in cold-expanded polyurethane foam shapes the backrests and armrests. Cushions for seat, arms and back are filled with washed, sterilised goose down in stitched compartments of their own, plus a preformed polyurethane foam insert. A joint bracket made of laser-cut steel sheet and steel rod links the elements. Feet of Ø22 mm steel rod in Gunmetal grey powder coat finish in adjustable plastic tips.

Specifications

Seat depth: 64 - 133 cm. Elements: terminal element with left or right armrest, corner, central, long seat, footrest and loose cushions.

Story

Curved backrests in sequence

Greene System brings an elegant presence to the space, setting curved backrests one after another. They delimit soft volumes, each suspended on a slender foot, in a living area of warm minimalism.

Elements joined by brackets

Brackets connect the elements, and a joint bracket comes as standard. Individual feet are specified at the order for freestanding use of single elements.
