Overview
Piero Lissoni designed Floyd for Living Divani in 2018. This is the modular version, built from volumes and platforms that combine freely with integrated tables.
Construction
The modular elements, which come in different dimensions, have a structure of poplar and fir honeycomb panel padded in polyurethane foam of differentiated density. The base carries cross-woven coated-rubber elastic straps. Seat cushions pair differentiated-density polyurethane foam with a Visco-soft insert under acrylic fibres, and backrest and armrest cushions hold goose down. Hooks join the elements, and adjustable plastic feet support them.
Specifications
The seat depth comes in 68, 94 or 120 cm. The fabric or leather cover can be removed entirely once its zippers and Velcro fastenings are opened.

Living Divani sets the modular Floyd apart through simple and harmonious elegance, the soft naturalness of gently curved cushions and calibrated proportions. The elements are volumes and platforms that can be combined freely with practical integrated tables.
Compositions each time different
Because the elements come in different dimensions and are joined by hooks, each Floyd arrangement can be new and surprising. An optional spacer lifts the elements a further 4 cm, and a compass mechanism is available on request for opening modular elements of the same depth.
