Description
Overview
Floyd Sofa Bed is the 2024 convertible member of Piero Lissoni's Floyd family. It is offered as a sofa bed with or without armrest cushions.
Construction
A poplar-and-fir honeycomb-panel frame supports differentiated-density polyurethane padding. Goose-down back and armrest cushions use compartmented filling around foam inserts. The removable upholstery is fabric or leather.
Bed specification
Mattress formats are 200 × 12 × 120, 140 or 160 cm. The seat depth is 68 cm. Opening the base requires removal and replacement of the seat, back and armrest cushions.
Story
Floyd's convertible edition
The sofa-bed version arrived in 2024, six years after the Floyd modular sofa. Pure, harmonious elegance defines its upholstery, while the convertible model receives a three-width bed mechanism.
Cushion variants
Codes ending in L identify the standard form; parallel LC codes add armrest cushions. Across the three widths, the model remains a sofa bed rather than one of Floyd's free-composition modular elements.
