Overview
Piero Lissoni designed the Clan sofa in 2023 as an expansion of the Clan collection for Living Divani. A high backrest with a rounded line defines it, a shape that is pure and rigorous.
Construction
The structure is fir honeycomb, and the base of the sofa is poplar plywood with an inserted 25 x 25 mm tubular steel frame painted with epoxy polyester powder coating. Coated-rubber elastic straps, woven crosswise, form the seat suspension. Polyurethane foam of differentiated density pads the frame, and the cover is 100% polyether heat-bonded onto a polyamide velveteen backing. The feet are laser-cut sheet steel with an epoxy polyester powder coat, and plastic tips meet the floor.
Specifications
The support cushions measure 50 x 50 cm or 50 x 70 cm and are filled with pre-washed, sterilised goose down. The leather or fabric covers come off completely.

The Clan sofa extends the Clan collection and is defined by a high backrest with a rounded line. The line is pure and rigorous, and the backrest embraces people in a convivial dialogue while ensuring their intimacy.
Honeycomb structure and steel feet
Piero Lissoni's design for Living Divani in 2023 builds the sofa on a fir honeycomb structure with a poplar plywood base. Laser-cut sheet steel feet are painted in Gunmetal Grey or in a burnished colour.
