Clan Armchair

Overview

Clan comes from Piero Lissoni and Living Divani and is dated 2022. The armchair is made in four versions: Alta and Bassa have a curved shape, Grande and Piccola a squared outline. The collection is conceived as a versatile answer to every need, in the name of elegance, fine materials and quality details.

Construction

Fir honeycomb forms the structure, with a plywood base. Elastic straps of coated rubber, woven crosswise, make up the seat suspension. Differentiated-density polyurethane foam pads the frame under a cover of 100% polyether that is thermally bonded to a polyamide velveteen backing, and the seat cushion foam has a polyester fibre cover given a needle treatment and a resin finish. The feet are laser-cut sheet steel powder-coated (epoxy polyester) in Gunmetal Grey or a burnished colour, and plastic tips touch the floor. Covers in leather or fabric come off in full, secured by zippers and Velcro.

Specifications

The armchairs take loose support cushions of 42 x 42 cm, filled with goose down, pre-washed and sterilised, held in separate stitched compartments.

Curved and squared outlines

Alta and Bassa are the curved versions, Grande and Piccola the squared ones. All four belong to one collection that aims at elegance, fine materials and quality details, as a versatile answer to every need.

Seams on the curved versions

In textured or striped fabrics and in leather, the Bassa and Alta armchairs have two seams on the inner back and a single central seam on the outer upholstery. Leather or fabric covers can be taken off completely.
