Betty TK10

Overview

Thau & Kallio designed Betty TK10 in 2024 as a stackable armchair of solid oak and form-pressed veneer.

Construction

Lacquered or oiled solid oak and form-pressed veneer, on plastic gliders (felt on request).

Specifications

H 78 × W 61 × D 48 cm (30 × 20 × 19 in). Seat 47 cm high and 42 cm deep; armrests at 67 cm. Weight 5 kg. Stacks eight high. For indoor use; the page's variant is Smoked Oiled Oak.

Betty with arms

The press release of February 2024 presents TK10 together with TK9 and TK11 as the armchairs of the Betty series; its text says the chair and armchair stack up to eight pieces. For TK10 it lists three finishes, Black lacquered ash, Lacquered oak and Smoked oiled oak, and it applies the EU Ecolabel to TK10 and TK11 only.

Armrests at 67 cm

The sheet's drawing labels the armrest height as 67 cm, next to a width of 61 cm and a seat height of 47 cm; its dimension list adds a seat depth of 42 cm.
