Overview
Betty TK9 is a stackable armchair designed by Thau & Kallio in 2024, with a webbed seat of natural linen and PP webbing.
Construction
Solid wood frame with form-pressed veneer, and a webbed seat in natural linen and polypropylene. The standard gliders are plastic.
Specifications
78 cm high, 61 cm wide, 48 cm deep; armrests at 67 cm; the seat is 42 cm deep, with a labelled seat height of 47 cm. Weight 5 kg. Eight chairs stack. Indoor use.
Story
Betty with arms
The February 2024 press release introduces TK9, TK10 and TK11 together as the armchair versions of the Betty series; TK9 is the one with a webbed seat, and the release's dimension line gives it a seat height of 47 cm and armrests at 67 cm.
Finishes by model
The release lists finishes model by model, and for TK9 it lists three wood finishes that carry natural webbing and one black-webbing option.
