Overview
The Bertoia Molded Shell Barstool is the molded-shell barstool that Knoll headlines 1960, offered as 426PL (counter height) and 428PL (bar height).
Construction
- Shell seat: glass fiber reinforced nylon (indoor colours) or polypropylene (Medium Grey and Black)
- Seat fixed to the base with stainless steel fasteners
- Welded steel rod base: polished chrome, white or black powder coat

Story
Counter and bar models
The design page lists the 426PL Counter Height and the 428PL Bar Height, both with a shell seat on the wire-form base. In its table the surface heights are 40-43 in for the bar model and 36-39 in for the counter model.
