Balestro 24 Sofa

Overview

Dated 2024, Balestro 24 was designed by Piero Lissoni for Living Divani. The concept rests on the simplicity of its components: a fine and light base surmounted by soft and cosy cushions.

Construction

Balestro 24 is a sofa with fixed dimensions in a woven or an upholstered version. The seat panel is 8 mm HPL and the frame is 30 x 30 mm tubular AISI 304 stainless steel where the armrests and backrests are attached with bushings. The woven version has an armrest and backrest frame of Ø20 mm AISI 304 stainless steel tube, woven with cellulose rope or hide profile for indoor use, or with synthetic rope or PVC for indoor and outdoor use. The upholstered version has a 40 x 10 mm AISI 304 stainless steel frame. The feet are Ø22 mm AISI 304 stainless steel with adjustable black plastic tips.

Specifications

Seat depth is 81 cm without the support cushions and 65 cm with them. Each seat includes 2 cushions of 50 x 50 cm.

Light base, soft cushions

Piero Lissoni designed Balestro 24 in 2024 around the simplicity of its components. A fine and light base carries soft and cosy cushions, and the sofa is made in a woven or an upholstered version.

Seat panel and weaving

The seat panel is an 8 mm HPL panel finished in veneered Canaletto Walnut for indoor use, or matt lacquered for both indoor and outdoor settings. The woven version is made with cellulose rope or hide profile indoors, and with synthetic rope or PVC for both indoor and outdoor settings.
