Studio 7.5 is a design studio in Berlin, Germany, founded in 1992 by Burkhard Schmitz and Carola Zwick. Carola's brother Roland Zwick is part of the group today, which Herman Miller's designer page describes as including a small team of seven.
Signature Style
The studio works collaboratively and tests ideas repeatedly in full-scale models. It prefers to call furniture "equipment" and says it defines not only how a chair looks but how it performs.
