Description

Overview

Mirra 2 Stool extends Studio 7.5’s responsive seating system to tall tables and high counters. Its movement-supporting structure combines torsional flex, sacral support, and balanced tilt.

Construction

The stool offers a Butterfly suspension back or polymer-only TriFlex back, an AireWeave suspension seat, Harmonic 2 tilt, a loop spine, and PostureFit support. Arm, lumbar-support, tilt, and seat-depth choices vary by configuration.

Specifications

The adjustable-arm model measures 31 in W × 26.5 in D × 55.2 in H at its published maximum width. Seat height adjusts from 23.5 to 33.5 inches, and the footrest is height-adjustable.

Story

A Stool Within the Mirra 2 System

Studio 7.5 developed Mirra 2 around surfaces and mechanisms that respond to changes in posture. The stool carries that approach upward for settings where seated and standing collaborators work at a common eye level.

Two Responsive Backs

The Butterfly version combines a fabric layer with a flexible polymer shell, while TriFlex uses polymer without fabric. Both work with the loop spine, AireWeave seat, and sacral support; the differences allow the same stool platform to address distinct support and cleaning requirements.
