Edward van Vliet is a Dutch designer. According to &Tradition, he views design as a journey between dreams and reality. Before founding his own studio in 1990, he studied Architecture, Interior and Industrial Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven and the HKU School of Arts. Signature Style
&Tradition calls him a leading figure in Dutch design who blurs aesthetic boundaries by blending cultural influences from around the world. His studio's philosophy page describes him as a total concept designer, and he says in his own words that his work is very much about creating a world within a world.
