Collection Story
Origin
Traverse is a 2025 range by Erwan Bouroullec for HAY. The outdoor furniture is meant to blend in naturally wherever it is placed, combining a robust construction with an inviting expression.
Design Language
Each furniture piece pairs a die-cast aluminium frame with slats in heat-treated ash. The aluminium is shot-blasted with an outdoor lacquer, the ash carries an outdoor wood wax oil, and the wood is expected to patinate to a silvery grey over time.

The collection has chairs, armchairs, lounge chairs, dining benches, lounge benches, a bench, a stool, a table and a quilted cushion, twelve entries in all.
