Overview
The Traverse Table is an outdoor table by Erwan Bouroullec for HAY. It is the table of the Traverse collection, where die-cast aluminium supports a slatted tabletop in heat-treated ash. The table is used with other Traverse furniture for eating and socialising.
Construction
- Frame: die-cast aluminium, shot-blasted and lacquered for outdoor use, with die-cast parts that are min. 60% recycled
- Crossbars: extruded, in conventional aluminium
- Top: slats of heat-treated solid ash, finished with wood wax oil for outdoor use

Story

Frame and top
A robust die-cast aluminium frame meets a slatted tabletop in heat-treated ash. The look is inviting and the proportions are well balanced, and the ash patinates naturally and becomes more beautiful over time.
