Overview

The Traverse Lounge Bench is a bench by Erwan Bouroullec for HAY and belongs to the Traverse outdoor collection. A slatted seat in heat-treated ash is carried by a die-cast aluminium frame.

Erwan Bouroullec designed the Traverse Lounge Bench for HAY as a bench in the Traverse range. This bench works together with the rest of the Traverse furniture for relaxing and socialising.

Aluminium frame, ash seat

A die-cast aluminium frame and a slatted ash seat give the bench a robust construction and an inviting expression. The ash, which is heat treated, patinates naturally; UV radiation gradually changes its surface colour, and the wood fades to a silvery-grey patina over a few months to a few years.
