Overview
Up 50 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Up series, which Gaetano Pesce designed in 1969. For the occasion the iconic chair with ottoman UP5_6 is dressed in a beige/petrol green striped fabric that follows the original colour palette. The page headline gives 2019.
Construction
Polyurethane foam, flexible and cold shaped, provides the upholstery. The remaining parts on the list: a base of jute, 100% fabric, with PVC trimming; a button for the cover in metal and fabric; a thick leather button on the underside; a cord of 100% nylon; and a fabric cover in limited categories.
