Description

Overview

Dated 2026, The Edge is a modular sofa by Piero Lissoni for Living Divani. It defines space with a pure, controlled outline, and a structured geometry that evokes an architectural language.

Construction

The sofa exists in two versions. In the padded version, the bases are poplar plywood, and backrests and armrests are built of poplar plywood and fir blockboard under polyurethane padding, all wrapped in polyether lining (100%) on a polyamide velveteen backing. In the lacquered version, bases, backrests and armrests are MDF with a glossy lacquer finish. In both, steel supports fix the backrests and armrests to the bases. Seat cushions combine polyurethane foam of differentiated density with a pocketed spring insert, and the support cushions are microflock fibre. Steel brackets and feet of 40x15 mm section take a Gunmetal grey epoxy polyester powder coating, while plastic tips give the floor support.

Specifications

Seat depth: 80 - 113 - 147 cm. Support cushions: 50x50 cm and 70x50 cm. Covers in fabric or leather, fully removable.
