Description
Overview
The Squash side table by Faye Toogood is an occasional table with a bold and original design: two lacquered blocks are kept apart by a cushion at the centre, and its Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather cover matches the colour of the blocks.
Construction
- Blocks: the upper and lower blocks are stacked on top of each other and made of medium-density fibreboard with a glossy lacquer finish
- Cushion: the central cushion is medium-density fibreboard padded with expanded polyurethane and polyester wadding, covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather
- Base: medium-density fibreboard with a matt black lacquer finish, fitted with protective felt pads

Story
Two blocks and a cushion
The table is built by stacking two blocks with a soft cushion between them, so a rigid lacquered surface meets padded leather. The leather of the cushion is colour-coordinated with the lacquer of the blocks.
Four colour combinations
The table is available strictly in four colour combinations, named Cream, Sage, Blue and Brown. Each pairs a ColorSphere® leather with the matching lacquer of the blocks.
