Description
Overview
Faye Toogood designed the Butter Armchair for Tacchini. The chair does not impose a posture but supports it, turning comfort into an empathetic and natural experience.
Construction
Wood forms the internal frame; the padding is multi-density polyurethane foam and the seat cushion is hypoallergenic fibre. The cover can be fabric or leather, and the listed cushioning grades are B10 Relaxed and B20 Tailored.

Story
A continuous soft profile
A generous seat takes a substantial back cushion, which wraps around the whole structure and continues along the upper edges to give a soft, continuous profile. The soft, sculptural lines follow the body and its movements in a relaxed and informal way.
Padded and rounded
Side stitching emphasises the full, rounded padded volumes and encourages relaxation and spontaneity within the home. The armchair reinforces the spirit of Faye Toogood's collection, where comfort is meant to feel empathetic and natural.
