Story
A shell rethought with EOOS
Walter Knoll's press text says the development team and EOOS completely rethought the technology of a shell chair. The openings in the seat and back hold bands in the form of palm leaves, which give a springy feel when seated and also act as ventilation.
Made to be taken apart
The barstool is described as using minimal material for an upholstered chair. Cover and frame can be disassembled and recycled, and the materials can be separated after a long lifecycle and re-used separately.
