Overview
Rib Dresser w. 4 Drawers Soft Black is the dresser of Normann Copenhagen's Rib collection, created by Simon Legald. It contains four drawers and carries the trapeze-shaped solid oak slats that give the collection its depth and dynamics.
Construction
The dresser is made of lacquered oak veneer and solid oak. It comes in the finishes Oak and Soft Black. The Rib range also includes a cabinet and sideboards in two sizes.
Specifications
80 x 45 x 104.6 cm (Rib Dresser w. 4 Drawers Soft Black, 609503).
Story
An addition from June 2024
Rib Dresser w. 4 Drawers was introduced with the Rib Sideboard Low to give the collection a wider range of usage scenarios and settings. Legald designed the dresser as one of the two new pieces of that release.
Slats from summerhouse facades
The front takes its trapeze-shaped slats from the vertical wooden facades of 1960s Nordic summerhouses, and the oak materials give the dresser a minimalistic and natural aesthetic.
