Overview
Rib Cabinet Soft Black is a timeless and elegant storage cabinet from Normann Copenhagen, created by Simon Legald. Trapeze-shaped solid oak slats on the front interrupt the flat face and add depth and dynamics.
Construction
Slats and base are solid oak and the frame is painted and lacquered oak veneer, both FSC certified. A push latch replaces the handle, the shelves are removable and adjustable in height, and the cabinet is delivered assembled. Colors are Oak and Soft Black.
Specifications
98.5 x 45 x 96.5 cm (Rib Cabinet Soft Black, 607751).
Story
From Nordic summerhouses
Rib Cabinet takes its slatted front from the wooden facades of Nordic summerhouses of the 1960s. The trapeze-shaped panels add character, and the push latch keeps the front in one stringent wooden surface.
One of the first two pieces
The cabinet and the sideboard made up the Rib collection when it was released in June 2022. The shelves inside can be removed or moved in height to suit what is stored.
