Plastics Duo

Overview

The Plastics Duo Two-Seater is a modular sofa by Piero Lissoni with large cushions of goose feather and flock. Kartell's page lists it in the Orsetto fabric, colour White, with a flameproof or not flameproof choice; the not flameproof version has product id B0709401.

Construction

The data sheet gives the seat and backrest as goose down and flock cushions covered in fabric, with a removable cover. The leaflet lists transparent polycarbonate feet and cushions of polyurethane foam, feather and down.

Feather and flock cushions

Kartell's page text presents Plastic Duo as modular, with severe lines and cushions of goose feather and flock. The Pop collection named in that text is completed, it says, by an armchair and a pouf that work alone or in an arrangement.

Orsetto and Gubbio Match

The data sheet titled Plastics Duo 2010 offers two cover fabrics. Orsetto, the page's fabric, comes in White, Green, Brown, Rusty orange, Blue and Grey, and carries a fire-tested symbol; Gubbio Match has its own six colours.
