Description

Overview

Piero Lissoni designed Ouzo for Living Divani in 2025. It sits between a regular chair and a true armchair, and its design aims at harmony between grace and well-being for an increasingly flexible lifestyle.

Construction

The shell comes in two types, both built on a curved poplar plywood structure with polyurethane foam padding of differentiated density, covered in a polyester-fibre lining and a polyamide velveteen backing. Polyurethane foam makes up the seat cushion, which has a 100% polyether cover. The base comes with turned solid ash legs in natural or charcoal-dyed finish, with legs upholstered in leather, with conical steel-tube legs, or as a swivel base in CNC-machined steel plate. Interchangeable tips of black plastic or felt meet the floor. The fabric or leather covering is fully detachable and closes with zippers and Velcro.

Specifications

Seat depth: 45 cm. The metal legs and the swivel base are finished in Gunmetal Grey or Burnished.

Story

Between chair and armchair

Ouzo is described as neither a regular chair nor a true armchair. Piero Lissoni's 2025 design for Living Divani looks for harmony between grace and well-being, and for an easy fit with an increasingly flexible lifestyle.

One shell, several bases

The shell is built in two types on curved poplar plywood. Beneath it the base changes by version: turned ash legs, upholstered legs, conical steel legs or a swivel base, each ending in plastic or felt tips.
