NeoWall Bed

Overview

Piero Lissoni designed the NeoWall bed for Living Divani in 2016. It is a natural evolution of Neowall and is marked by soft volumes and a downy perimeter that runs completely around the mattress area.

Construction

The headboard and bedstead structure is double-panelled pine and poplar. The headboard is padded in differentiated-density polyurethane foam and finished either with a down-filled mat (pre-washed, sterilized goose down, stitched in separate pockets) or with layers of acrylic fibre. The bedstead is padded in polyurethane foam and covered in a polyester fibre fabric, needle-treated and resin-finished, laid over a polyamide velveteen backing. A lacquered metal frame supports the assembled bed and its slat base, and the feet are black lacquered aluminium. The slat base is protected by a cover in 100% cotton that zips open on the sides so that the slat base can be inset.

A padded structure with a metal frame

The structure under the upholstery is a double-panelled pine and poplar headboard and bedstead structure. The headboard padding is finished with a goose-down mat or with acrylic fibre layers, and a lacquered metal frame supports the assembled bed and its slat base.
