Description
Overview
The MultiGeneration by Knoll Stool adapts Formway’s open, flexible shell to counter and bar heights. Its sled base includes a footrest and the perforated back supports changing positions.
Representative size
The bar-height version is 18.6 in W × 23.4 in D × 44.5 in H, with a 29.5 in seat height.
Options
Knoll also publishes a 41.7-inch counter model with a 26.7-inch seat height. An optional upholstered pad adds 0.3 inch.
Frame finishes are Black, Metallic Grey and Silver.
Story
A raised MultiGeneration format
Formway carried the family’s premise of movement into a dedicated stool rather than merely lengthening chair legs. The sled form includes a footrest, the shell flexes passively, and the open sides allow posture to change.
Two working heights
Counter and bar versions keep the same stated width and depth while changing overall and seat heights for their respective table relationships.
