Description

Overview

MultiGeneration by Knoll Light Task uses a flexible perforated shell, open sides and a swivel base to support changing postures. Knoll dates this product to 2016.

Movement

Passive flex and an open design allow 270-degree sitting. The rolled top edge can serve as a side-sitting armrest or carrying handle.

Dimensions

The armed version is 25.6 in W × 21.9 in D × 37.5 in H at maximum adjustment.

The optional pad raises the published seat height by 0.3 inch.

Story

Fidgeting as a design premise

Formway’s product story begins from the observation that small movements can help people remain engaged. MultiGeneration translates that premise into a buoyant shell that avoids fixing the sitter in one orientation.

Light-task variation

The height-adjustable swivel version combines the family’s perforated back and open sides with task-chair mobility. Its optional pad and separate armed or armless widths allow the basic shell to support different specifications.
