Story
Shaped to fit the human form
Knoll's shop page describes the MR Chaise Lounge as curvaceous and cantilevered, shaped to fit the human form. It says the piece holds the sitter aloft and creates a feeling of floating in space, and that it bounces ever so slightly. The design-plan page dates the chaise to 1927, like the other pieces of the MR Collection.
