Description
Overview
Nemschoff Monarch Plus Chair from Herman Miller combines a solid wood frame with an open, contemporary design, which gives it a welcoming style. Its extended seating is meant to offer comfort and support for a variety of body types, and its sculpted arms are described as unique.
Construction
The frame is solid hardwood with mortise and tenon joinery, topped by a memory foam seat. A gap between seat and back forms the wipe-out design. Its legs are wallsaver legs, and the glides underneath are 7/8 in non-marring ones. Replaceable components and a healthcare wood finish round out the build.
Specifications
Overall size 32.5 x 24.75 x 33.5 in (W x D x H, Nemschoff Monarch Plus Chair).
Story
Seating for all guests
The Monarch Plus Chair is introduced as a way to provide comfort and support for all guests. Extended seating provides comfort and support for a variety of body types, and the open, contemporary design gives the chair its welcoming style.
Frame and arms
A solid wood frame underlies the design, and unique sculpted arms are said to make entering and leaving easier. Mortise and tenon joinery connects the frame, and the seat foam adapts to whoever sits.
