Overview
The Mesa Due Oval Meeting Table has an oval top entirely covered in Pelle Frau leather. The table is from 2016 and is designed by Lella and Massimo Vignelli.
Construction
- Top: two panels of medium-density fibreboard, the lower one painted black with a texture and the upper one covered in leather
- Frame: black painted iron structure that supports the top
- Columns: steel, kept stable by internal counterweights, upholstered in Pelle Frau ColorSphere leather, stitched tone on tone, and each ends in a shaped plastic cap

Story
An oval version of the workspace table
The oval table belongs to the Mesa Due Meeting Table line, the new version of the Vignelli table for workspaces, sophisticated in materials, technological in performance, flexible in design. Mesa itself goes back to 1985 and to Lella & Massimo Vignelli.
Leather top, steel column
The oval top is made of double medium-density wood fibre panels and is entirely covered in Pelle Frau leather. The steel support column is upholstered in ColorSphere leather, stitched in the same tone.
