Description

Overview

Nemschoff Merge 2 Flop Sofa supports the role that family and friends play in a patient's healing process. It consists of two seats with an adjustable-height table between them, and can serve guest activities from sleeping and working to dining and socializing.

Construction

The back cushion flops down to turn the sofa into a sleep surface, with no mechanism needed. The sleep surface is antimicrobial, moisture proof and cleanable. The center table is a laminate top with a wood edge, and the covers are removable. Components are replaceable, and a clean-out design puts a gap between seat, back and arms.

Specifications

The sofa is 35 in deep and 33 in high.

Story

A place for family and friends

Merge 2 Flop Sofa gives visitors in a patient room somewhere to read, work, dine and sleep in one piece. The table between the two seats is height-adjustable, so it serves as a work or dining surface when raised and becomes part of the sleep surface when lowered.

Built for healthcare

Merge 2 has a multifunctional design that helps guests feel more at home. It is designed with healthcare performance in mind and addresses infection control and ease of maintenance.
