Description
Overview
Siiri is a cable-free, movable table lamp that Oiva Toikka and Iittala designed in 2019 for Magis. Its battery is rechargeable, the light is diffused, and the lamp is for indoor use.
Construction
The base is made in ABS and the body in coloured polycarbonate, with a separate coloured beak. Siiri uses LED technology, a touch switch handles the dimming, and a micro USB-C cable with a battery charger recharges it. The light source is of energy efficiency class D.

Story
Birds in glass and in light
Oiva Toikka (1931 - 2019) is counted among the greatest names in Finnish glass, and the Birds Collection for Iittala is his best-known work. Siiri is one of the Linnut birds, made as a lamp in polycarbonate.
