Description
Overview
Palturi is a rechargeable lamp with diffused light, produced by Magis from a 2019 design by Oiva Toikka and Iittala. LED technology and a touch switch with dimmer function are built into the lamp.
Construction
ABS forms the base and coloured polycarbonate forms the body, in white 1729. The maximum power supply is 5 W, and the lamp is charged only with the battery charger supplied by Magis.

Story
Making as chatter
Oiva Toikka describes his creations as the same as his chatter: he babbles constantly, and making is the same thing in physical form. Palturi is one of the lamps that Magis developed with him and Iittala, in 2019.
Battery and charging
A fully charged battery gives light for up to 6 hours, and battery life increases when the light intensity is reduced. A full charge takes approximately 4.5 hours through a micro USB-C cable.
