Description

Overview

Lea is a 2003 chair by Roberto Barbieri. The official sheet clearly distinguishes side-chair models 2083 and 2084 from the armchair model 2085.

Upholstered shell

An aluminium-alloy frame carries polyurethane padding across the seat and back; the armchair adds padded arms. Fabric and leather covers are removable, while the cowhide version is fixed.

Specifications

The selected side-chair model 2083 drawing shows 44, 53 and 84 cm without axis labels. A fourth, uncaptioned vertical measurement reads 45.5 cm; 84 cm is the largest vertical value.

Story

Three related codes

Zanotta groups Lea as a chair and a chair with armrests. Models 2083 and 2084 share the armless format but differ in width, while 2085 adds arms.

Optional loose cover

Beyond the fitted upholstery, Zanotta offers a separate white cotton cover that slips over the chair without fastening. A short version covers the seat and back, and a long version continues over the legs.
