Jam Easychair

Overview

Piero Lissoni designed Jam for Living Divani in 2025. It is an easychair that balances strength with precision and rigor with softness.

Construction

The backrest has a steel frame encased in cold-expanded polyurethane foam, covered with a needle-treated, resin-coated polyester-fibre lining and coupled with a polyamide velveteen backing. The seat frame is 15x5 mm steel tube carrying elastic straps of coated rubber that are cross-woven, with polyurethane foam padding. Backrest and seat frame are screwed to a steel frame made from a metal sheet, with 30 mm tubular steel legs welded to it, all powder-coated in epoxy polyester. The chair meets the floor on plastic tips. Leather upholstery is always fixed; fabric covers close with zippers and Velcro and can be taken off entirely.

Steel frame, soft covering
