Description
Overview
Intent Solution combines an all-purpose table with an integrated wall system. Together they help caregivers in exam rooms use technology naturally, so that it becomes a tool for talking with patients and keeping the focus on the conversation.
Construction
The mobile table is height adjustable and has a waterfall edge that is easy on the forearms. Its four-star base provides foot clearance and stability at seated or standing heights, and special casters keep the table stationary yet roll smoothly and quietly when it is moved. The table and the wall unit's shelf nest together to form a peninsula for extra work or consultation.
Specifications
Height adjustment range: 29 to 46 in.
Story
A tool for building trust
Intent pairs an all-purpose table with an integrated wall system so that caregivers can use all sorts of technology, from desktops and monitors to laptops and tablets, without turning away from the patient. Technology becomes an aid to communicating, not the center of attention, and cords are kept out of the way.
An all-purpose shape
The table's shape is designed to be free of any one specific use. It is a place for a caregiver to work or a surface for meeting with a patient, its shape invites caregiver and patient to gather around it, and two edges form a 90-degree right angle so it can fit neatly into a room corner.
