Story
Mendini's 1986 table
Zanotta's current product page, one-page sheet and Edizioni catalogue consistently credit Alessandro Mendini and date Hispo to 1986. The object is described as a signed original and identified as model 6500.
Flower-table construction
Zanotta names Hispo a flower-table. The wooden top receives a polychrome mosaic built into its surface, above a steel leg and a cast aluminium base.
