The GranTorino HB sofa applies Jean-Marie Massaud's elevated back and side panels to a multi-seat format. The representative two-seat code includes two 60 × 60 cm back cushions.

Structure
A tubular metal seat frame is sprung with woven elastic belts. Birch plywood forms the surrounding panels; layered polyurethane foam, pressed wadding and polyester fibre build the interior. The seat cushions use goose down and polyester wadding around stabilising foam.

Story
GranTorino with an elevated perimeter
For the HB version, Poltrona Frau says Massaud reworked the proportions of classic GranTorino around a taller back. The two-seat model extends that enclosing outline across a sofa while retaining individual loose cushions.
Visible handwork
Single X stitches are sewn by hand in contrasting thread across the back-panel and seat-cushion covers. The official sheet recommends two additional 47 × 47 cm cushions for the representative sofa size, sold separately.
