Overview
Stanford Lounge is a high-backed armchair on a swivel metal base, credited by Poliform to Jean-Marie Massaud, 2019. The page says the lines of the Stanford collection are rounded here to become more welcoming.
Construction
Compact polyurethane forms the main structure around a flexible inner element, and the base that lets the seat turn is die-cast aluminium. Padding in polyester wraps the multi-density seat cushion. Fabric, leather or hide covers are fixed in place. The kidneyrest cushion is a separate item with its own cover.
Specifications
- Size: 780 x 780 x 1000 mm
- Base: die-cast aluminium swivel
- Cover: fabric, leather or hide, not removable
Story
A rounder Stanford
Poliform says the Stanford Lounge armchair pairs a swivel metal base with a high-backed seat, and that the lines of the Stanford collection are rounded in this piece to become more welcoming.
Leather outside and in
The page describes a special version with leather upholstery, upholstered in leather outside and in a tone-on-tone leather inside.
