Construction
Metal tubing and interwoven elastic belts support the seat. Birch plywood forms the back and side panels; their exterior receives polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Inside the loose seat pad, down and polyester fibre surround a stabilising foam core.

Story
High Back interpretation
The page says Massaud changed the proportions of his GranTorino to make the HB armchair a more enclosed form. The tall back and side profile defines this version rather than an added loose back cushion.
Tailored panels
The official sheet specifies hand-made single X stitches in contrasting thread on the back-panel cover and seat cushions. A 60 × 60 cm goose-down cushion is included, while an optional 47 × 47 cm cushion is recommended for this size.
