Overview
Fillet is a lounge chair designed by Giacomo Moor in 2025 for Living Divani, in an indoor version. It sets lightness against solidity, and several materials and techniques meet in a restrained whole.
Construction
The frame is tubular steel, Ø25 mm, finished in epoxy polyester powder, either Gunmetal grey or a burnished colour. The shell is 15 mm thick flexible plywood, curved and fixed to the frame with screws. It is veneered in Natural or Charcoal-dyed Oak, in Stone Oak® with a water-based coating, or in Tobacco-dyed Oak or Striped Grey multilayer wood veneer with an acrylic coating. The support cushion is polyurethane foam with an acrylic-fibre covering, upholstered in fabric or leather on a non-slip cotton backing and fully removable with zippers. Black plastic supports meet the floor.
Specifications
Seat depth: 55 cm.
Story
Shell and frame
Fillet pairs a slender tubular steel frame with a curved plywood shell. The shell is fastened to the frame with screws.
Wood finishes
Five shell finishes are offered for the indoor chair: Natural Oak, Tobacco-dyed Oak, Charcoal-dyed Oak, Striped Grey and Stone Oak®. Striped Grey is a decorative multilaminar veneer with patterns that reproduce the natural characteristics of wood, always finished with a transparent acrylic painting.
