Overview
The Fidelio Notte High Drawer Chest (SKU 5599869) is part of the Fidelio Notte bedroom group designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Poltrona Frau. Leather upholsters its sides and drawer fronts, around a supporting structure of Canaletto walnut.
Construction
- Supporting structure: a frame of solid Canaletto walnut and birch plywood; walnut veneer faces outward and natural extra-light maple veneer faces inward
- Drawers: maple-veneered birch plywood boxes on soft-close metal runners, fronts of walnut-veneered birch plywood leather-covered outside
- Top: marble, or Canaletto walnut
- Back: leather, or Canaletto walnut
- Base: birch plywood faced with walnut veneer, standing on rubber-capped adjustable steel feet

Story
Walnut and leather
The high drawer chest keeps the materials of the Notte group: Canaletto walnut for the structure, saddle leather on the outer faces of the drawers and on the sides, and stitching that is either tone-on-tone or contrasting. The drawer boxes are birch plywood with a natural maple veneer, and the walnut-veneered plywood fronts take the leather.
Choices for the top and the back
A Canaletto walnut top or a marble top in various finishes can be chosen, and the back is either leather or Canaletto walnut. Two leather ranges, Re-Saddle and Saddle Extra, provide 18 colours in all.
