Description
Overview
The Fidelio Leica Multimedia Cabinet is the Poltrona Frau x Leica edition of the Fidelio multimedia cabinet, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni (SKU 5PF0059900001) in collaboration with Leica. The top hides a projection screen on a motor-driven canvas, and a central pull-out compartment is made for the Leica Cine 1 smart laser TV.
Construction
- Structure: birch plywood and solid ash, veneered in moka-stained ash outside and extra-light natural maple inside
- Drawers: two pull-out drawers with a push-pull mechanism, fronts upholstered in leather
- Top: birch plywood with solid-ash edging in moka-stained ash veneer, with a rear flap over the screen
- Base: two rectangular legs in solid moka-stained ash joined by a black matte-painted steel frame
- Back: three removable panels in moka-stained ash or leather
Specifications
280 x 73 x 205 cm (W x D x H) with the projection canvas fully raised.
Story
A screen that rises from the top
At the back of the top, a mobile flap conceals the projection screen while it is not in use. Once the central compartment is in position and the projector is switched on, the flap, which is attached to the screen cover, rotates and the screen rises vertically. When the projector is switched off, the screen retracts into the cabinet by itself and the flap returns to its original position.
A pull-out compartment for the projector
The central compartment runs on metal rails with soft-close technology and is pulled out by hand with a handle hidden under the lower front. Pulling it out is what places the Leica Cine 1 at the correct projection distance. A Celexon UST 100 screen is supplied with the cabinet, and the Leica Cine 1 projector is bought separately. Cables of the devices pass through a removable panel at the rear.
