Overview

The Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet (SKU 5599790) is the media unit of the Fidelio line by Roberto Lazzeroni, made to hold a TV and stereo. A spacious top surface sits over three open compartments, with three large drawers below.

Construction

• Structure, top and open compartments: birch plywood and solid ash with a moka-stained ash veneer
• Drawers: fronts fully covered in leather with push-pull opening, interior lined in extra-light natural maple veneer
• Drawer bottoms: leather mats
• Base: a moka-stained ash trestle with a triangular-section profile
• Back: moka-stained ash or leather

The upper part of the cabinet is made of three open compartments and the lower part of three drawers that open with a push-pull system. The open compartments are connected to the back through four flexible openings at the bottom, covered in leather, which lead to a chamber for the cables. Two openings let them run to the electric outlets.

Cables from the top to the back

A hidden door at the back gives access to the electric cables, and cables from devices placed on the top can be threaded through. The trestle base, made of moka-stained ash, adds to the feeling of openness and visual lightness. Lazzeroni's multimedia cabinet dates from 2018.
