Description

Overview

Extrasoft is a modular sofa that Living Divani credits to Piero Lissoni, 2008. The page describes it as a "Modular sofa with a casual aspect and a soft, more yielding and malleable comfort" and "Cosy and restful seats which can be placed next to each other in a geometrical configuration, but with irregular contours". The technical sheet covers an indoor and an outdoor version.

Construction

The sheet describes the indoor version with a poplar and laminated fir wood structure and a spring system of cross-woven elastic straps made of coated rubber. Padding is differentiated density polyurethane foam, covered with a mattress pad filled with pre-washed and sterilized goose down stitched into separate compartments, or on request with acrylic fibres. Upholstery is fabric or leather, fully removable with Velcro fastenings. Floor support is provided by adjustable plastic feet, and the elements are joined with specific hooks.

Story

Modular elements

The Living Divani page describes Extrasoft as a "Modular sofa with a casual aspect and a soft, more yielding and malleable comfort" and "Cosy and restful seats which can be placed next to each other in a geometrical configuration, but with irregular contours".

Indoor and outdoor

The technical sheet is titled Extrasoft | Indoor - Outdoor and describes modular elements in different sizes for indoor and outdoor use. The page links a separate outdoor version. For compositions of different elements, the sheet asks for a general sketch to be attached to the order.
