Overview
Piero Lissoni drew Easy Lipp in 2015 as a seating system for Living Divani. Its page says it moulds environments with character and lightness, hosting daily moments of relax.
Construction
The backrest and armrest frame is fir honeycomb panel, padded in polyurethane foam under a needle-treated polyester fibre cover. In the fixed and modular sofa the seat chassis is 40x30 mm tubular steel with black epoxy polyester powder coating and an elastic-strap suspension, set into a multilayer poplar base. Quilted seat cushions are filled with goose down in chambers, over a foam insert. A 15x15 mm square-section steel bracket with burnished epoxy finish stands on adjustable plastic tips.
Specifications
The technical drawing of the 190 cm sofa gives 190, 82 and 71 cm (axes not labelled on the drawing), with 65, 43 and 20 cm also marked. Seat depth is listed as 65 to 85 cm for the sofa.
Story
One sheet, many elements
The technical sheet covers an armchair, a 150 cm settee, corner, central and terminal elements, a 160 cm long seat and sofas of 190, 235 and 280 cm. The XL sofa is drawn at 235 and 280 cm, with 102 in the plan view where the standard sofa shows 82. Two loose cushion sizes, 50x50 and 50x70 cm, are also drawn.
Five sample compositions
The sheet closes with five example layouts: widths of 282, 343, 343, 326 and 372 cm, built from the same elements with left or right terminal pieces, a corner element and a 160 cm long seat. A general sketch is asked for when a composition mixes different elements.
